To prepare, arrive with clean, dry skin and hair about 1/4 inch long. Avoid heavy creams, recent exfoliation or tanning for 24–48 hours. Wear loose clothing to your appointment to minimize friction and help skin recover comfortably after sugaring.

Most clients report less discomfort with sugaring than waxing. Sugar paste grips hair, not skin, and technicians use gentle, quick pulls. We can apply numbing options or breaks if needed; pain usually decreases with repeated treatments as hair thins.

Hair should be at least 1/4 inch (about 6 mm) for sugar to grab properly. Ideally leave growth between 1/4 and 1/2 inch for most effective removal. If hair is too long, we may trim slightly before starting.

Schedule appointments every 4–6 weeks initially, depending on your growth cycle. As hair becomes finer and sparser, many clients extend visits to every 6–8 weeks. Regular sessions yield smoother, slower regrowth and easier treatments.

Sugaring uses simple, food-grade ingredients and is often better tolerated than waxing, but sensitivities are possible. Inform your technician about allergies or medications. We offer a patch test and tailored care; avoid sugaring over active rashes or open skin.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Keep the area clean and lightly moisturized with a gentle, fragrance-free product. Begin gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and promote even regrowth.
