How sugaring is performed
Sugaring uses a simple paste made from sugar, lemon, and water that adheres primarily to hair rather than living skin. For a half stomach treatment our esthetician applies the paste and removes hair in the direction of growth, which most clients find less irritating and often notably less painful than traditional hard wax techniques.
The half stomach area focuses on the belly and lower abdomen, targeting stray hairs around the waistband or midriff. Precision matters: the esthetician shapes the treated zone to your preference, working around natural contours and any stretch marks or scars, and checks hair direction to capture shorter hairs while minimizing skin stress.
Preparing and caring for skin
Before your appointment hair should be about 1/4 inch long — roughly the size of a grain of rice — so the sugar can grip the shaft. Avoid heavy moisturizers on the day of service and arrive in comfortable clothing. If you have a history of sensitivity or active sunburn, mention it when booking so the esthetician can adjust the approach.
After sugaring avoid heavy exercise, hot baths, saunas, and direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours to limit irritation. Gently moisturize daily and exfoliate two to three times per week to reduce ingrown hairs. If you experience persistent redness or irritation, contact the studio for product or timing recommendations suited to Peachtree Corners' humid climate.
Timing, location and seasonality
Half stomach sugaring is busiest in June–August when crop tops and swimwear bring midriffs into view; book early for summer months. Our Peachtree Corners location on Peachtree Parkway near Town Center and The Forum makes evening and weekend appointments convenient for commuters and families balancing work, errands, and recreation before or after an appointment.
Typical results last three to five weeks, with many clients reporting finer, sparser regrowth after repeated sessions. Sugar Me Waxing Studio supports scheduled bookings and accepts walk-ins when capacity allows; use online booking or call ahead, especially during peak summer, to secure an evening or weekend slot that fits your schedule.
