How sugaring removes hair
Sugaring uses a simple paste of sugar, lemon and water that adheres primarily to hair rather than live skin. Applied and removed along the hair’s natural direction of growth, the technique reduces tugging and allows precise removal close to the root, which helps create crisp eyebrow lines while minimizing irritation on delicate facial skin.
Because the paste does not stick to skin cells and the esthetician works with hair growth, many clients experience less discomfort than with hard wax and report fewer ingrown hairs over time. For sensitive or breakout-prone skin, our team may recommend soothing post-care like a hydro jelly mask and gentle moisturizers to calm the area after shaping.
What happens at your appointment
Your appointment begins with a brief discussion of desired brow shape and any skin sensitivities. Our technicians focus on detailed shaping and symmetry, using vegan, chemical-free sugar paste recognized by repeat clients for gentleness. We remove only the hairs that shape the brow, finishing with small refinements so the overall result looks clean and natural without over-thinning.
Located on Peachtree Parkway near Town Center and The Forum, our studio fits into commuter schedules with evening and weekend availability to serve busy professionals and families. We also accept many walk-ins. Demand increases in May, June, November and December around weddings, graduations and holiday gatherings, so booking ahead is wise during those months.
Aftercare, longevity, and maintenance
Expect results that typically last three to five weeks; consistent sessions may produce finer, sparser regrowth over time. Immediately after sugaring avoid heat, heavy sweating, direct sun exposure and exfoliant products for 24–48 hours. After that, moisturize and gently exfoliate two to three times weekly to help prevent ingrown hairs and maintain a smooth brow shape.
If you are pregnant or have heightened sensitivity, sugaring is generally considered safe, but tell your esthetician so technique can be adjusted. Our team commonly tailors pressure and post-care recommendations for sensitive clients. For breakout-prone skin we sometimes suggest soothing steps after service, such as a hydro jelly mask, to calm pores and reduce redness.
