Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Full Body Sugaring.
Most clients enjoy smooth results for four to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and hormonal factors. Regular appointments and proper at-home exfoliation can prolong results and reduce regrowth visibility over time.
Discomfort varies by individual and area; many men report less pain than waxing because sugaring removes hair in natural growth direction. Our technicians use warming and calming techniques to minimize discomfort and can adjust pressure and speed to suit sensitivity.
Trim very long hair if necessary; ideally hair should be one-quarter inch. Avoid heavy lotions or oils before your visit. Exfoliate gently forty-eight hours prior and arrive clean. Discuss medical conditions or medications with your technician before treatment.
Avoid shaving between sugaring sessions because shaving disrupts the hair growth cycle and can cause stubble and ingrown hairs. If necessary, use scissors to trim affected areas and wait until hair regrows to the recommended length before returning for treatment.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy workouts, and tight clothing for twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended lotion, exfoliate gently after three days, and protect skin from direct sun for at least a week to prevent irritation.
Certain conditions like active skin infections, open wounds, sunburn, recent chemical peels, or isotretinoin use may contraindicate treatment. Inform your technician about medications, diabetes, or circulatory issues so we can advise or obtain medical clearance before performing full body sugaring.
