Rainy Sundays are for relaxing at home after church.............. and for getting your eyebrows threaded for the first time. This trip was made due to Yelp Elite Perks. I had an appointment for 11:40 but I arrived at 11:20 I think. I was immediately greeted as soon as I walked in the door by Rosita and Alex along with Ami. I gave them my name and they took me right back for my first time eyebrow threading. Ami was my technician and let me just say she was the sweetest person ever. I had a few questions to which she answered and then she asked me to lay back in the chair. The chair is a salon chair with a nice pillow in it to lay your body. She allowed me to take a before pic with her and then she started the process. I was impressed that it did not hurt. It pinched a little and that was about all to it. I even asked her was she taking it easy on me as this was my first time and she said no. Apparently its all in the technique.

After she finished threading my brows she filled them in a little. She taught me how to do it correctly. I was grateful. The best part of all of this is the aloe gel that is put on your eyes to soothe the stinging and the gentle massage of your temples. That felt heavenly and it was unexpected and much needed.

Afterwards we talked about the other services offered such as facials, body waxing, henna tattoos etc. I was given a tour of the other rooms and shown the utensils used for the processes. All tools are for one use only and the entire place is sterilized and sanitary. I must say this place is super clean and super calming.

I will be back for sure for more services as this is around the corner from my job....more
